Protecting the security of your personal information

Save My Bacon Limited ("Save My Bacon") maintains reasonable measures to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

Save My Bacon takes action to help protect the personal and financial information you share with us by employing secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology. We use firewalls and other security technologies to help protect our servers from external attack.

While Save My Bacon takes appropriate security steps in accordance with New Zealand law to protect your personal information, no use of the Internet is 100% secure. As a result, Save My Bacon does not guarantee or warrant the security of any information you provide to us or that we collect from you. Save My Bacon will not be responsible for any consequent events arising from unauthorised access of the information provided by you or collected from you.

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access information about yourself and to request us to correct that information, and to limit the purposes to which it can be used. If you wish to receive details of the personal information held by us about you, or wish to have the information corrected, please write to the Privacy Officer to request this.
